Review of Mike (Driving instructor)
My twin sons Hayden and James Bolte have recently obtained their P’s licence through Awesome Driving School - Central Coast region.
I have nothing but high praise for Mike as a driving instructor. He has been working with my twin sons (Hayden and James) for the last couple of months & teaching them all the finer points they need to know to be confident and safe drivers, equipped with the necessary tools ready to gain their P’s licence. Through his effective mentoring, constructive feedback and extensive knowledge of the local roads, rules, and processes - my sons passed their P’s licence test first time.
He would work with both the boys in a professional manner, always calm and reassuring. He would regularly give appropriate homework & update me each lesson how the boys are travelling. He would provide constructive feedback on their strengths and weaknesses to work on. He never made the boys feel uncomfortable and Hayden/ James would come home from each lesson stating they had learnt something new, and that Mike’s Road rules/skills/safety knowledge is extensive (amazing).
Mike was extremely honest with the boys about areas for improvement with their driving skills and didn’t rush them to take the P’s driving test until he felt they were ready. As a parent with teenage sons about to hit the roads independently this honest appraisal with their driving skills progression was very reassuring.
